*Subject: Serious Complaint – Vehicle Breakdown & Failed Replacement Arrangements on 30 May–2 June Booking* Dear [GW Atomative Management Team], We are extremely disappointed with the car rental service we received... read more for our booking of a Toyota Noah from 30 May to 2 June for a Singapore–KL round trip. *1. Vehicle Breakdown* The vehicle broke down completely in a forested area in Negeri Sembilan at 2:30pm on 30 May, just hours into our trip. We were stranded for over 4 hours, from 2:30pm to 7:00pm, before a replacement vehicle finally arrived to transfer us to Genting Highlands. *2. Poorly Managed Replacement Arrangements* Your handling of the replacement cars was inconsistent and showed poor coordination between your team and third-party providers: - *Kg Chennah to Genting Highlands*: We waited from 2:30pm to 7:30pm for your first replacement arrangement – over 5 hours stranded with no clear updates. - *Genting Highlands to Melaka*: Your second arrangement was equally unreliable. You promised transport by 10:00am, but we were left waiting until 1:30pm with no progress, wasting more than 3 hours of our itinerary. You then changed the plan and said a driver would come to Genting for us to self-drive. In the end, we were forced to collect the vehicle from KL City Centre ourselves. Did you consider the traffic? The Genting–KL–Melaka route easily takes 4–5 hours during the day. Expecting us to make that drive after such delays showed a serious lack of planning and communication. This series of incidents ruined our pre-planned vacation, caused significant time loss, financial loss, and unnecessary mental stress. *Resolution We Expect* We expect a fair resolution from your company: 1. Reimbursement of the RM1,200 we paid out of pocket for alternative transport. 2. Reimbursement of the Melaka to Singapore transport cost that we had to cover due to your failed arrangements. While we understand if the Genting to Melaka transport fee cannot be reimbursed, losing an entire day due to your operational deficiencies is unreasonable.
